A company named Arrow Video recently released a remastered version of Rajinikanth's only Hollywood movie Bloodstone and has also announced that the 1988 film which is a co-production of Jeans producer Ashok Amritraj will be launching on Bluray on July 20, 2020.  

Shot predominantly in Bangalore, Bloodstone was directed by Dwight H. Little and was dubbed in Tamil as Vairavel. Rajinikanth plays a taxi driver named Shyam Sabu in the film which was about a 12th century ruby being chased by a gang of smugglers.
