Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi starrer 'Munna Bhai' series is considered as one of the most successful franchises of Bollywood. The fans are eagerly waiting for the third part of the film and now producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has confirmed that he will soon begin working on 'Munna Bhai 3'.

In a recent media interaction, Vidhu Vinod Chopra has said that he will begin work on the third part of Munna Bhai series from February 10. While he confirmed that Sanjay Dutt will be reprising his role as Munna Bhai, he’s hopeful to see all the actors back in the third film as well. 

"Munna Bhai 3 will be with Sanjay (Dutt) and yes, hopefully, all of them will be there…I am going to work on it from 10th (February). We have got the right idea but we have to work on that. I can't say how much time it will take to make but I want to make it,” Chopra told a leading tabloid.

Munna Bhai MBBS released in 2003 and its sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai released in 2006. Directed by Rajkummar Hirani both films starred Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi as Munna Bhai and Circuit respectively. It has been 14 years since the last film of the franchise Lage Raho Munna Bhai released and moviegoers have been eagerly waiting for an announcement regarding the next film of the franchise.

The producer is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Shikara, a film based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from the Kashmir Valley, which is hitting the screens this Friday (Feb 7).
