While there has been a high speculation involving Atlee making his directorial debut in Bollywood with Shahrukh Khan in lead role, there hasn’t been any official confirmation to it. While it was expected that there would be some announcements on SRK’s birthday, it still turned out to be a vague scenario. Apparently, the industry sources mention that there happens to be some issues revolving around the titled ‘Sanki’, which SRK and Atlee had opted for.

It seems that the title has been already registered by producer Sajid Nandiadwala for a Salman Khan script. In fact, the first consideration of Sallu’s ‘Kick’ was Sanki. However, they went for the title of original version and later decided to make a film with different script but same title. Nonetheless, now it’s up to Sajid Nandiadwala to decide on the title. It is said that the official announcement involving the project can be expected only after Christmas 2019.
