We had earlier reported that Ravi Teja’s forthcoming film tentatively titled ‘RT 66’ is a remake of actor Vijay’s blockbuster movie ‘Theri’. While the pre-production phase involving the finalization of cast and crew is happening on full swing, it is now confirmed that Shruthi Haasan will be playing the female lead role in this movie. It is not yet known whether she would be seen in the role that was essayed by Samantha Akkineni or Amy Jackson.

The film marks the collaboration of Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni after a very long hiatus. It is worth mentioning that Shruthi Haasan had played the female lead in the duo’s yesteryear hit movie Balupu. The tentatively titled RT 66 will be getting launched probably by next week.
