Farhan Akhtar shared the first look poster of his upcoming film 'Toofan' on his social media handle. He wrote, "Toofan Uthega!! FIRST LOOK!  #TOOFAN releasing 2nd October 2020!! " Farhan Akhtar who plays a boxer in this sports drama had underwent rigorous training to sport a chiselled physique to get into the skin of his character. In the first look poster, Farhan is seen in a boxing ring, all ready to give a punch. 

The film marks his second collaboration with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra once again after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which was a major hit in 2013. Reportedly the sports drama is not a biopic but a fictional story.

The film will be releasing on October 2, 2020 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi and is set to clash with John Abraham's 'Satyameva Jayate 2' at the Box Office next year.
