Box Office: Dream Girl becomes Ayushmann Khurrana's highest opening weekend grosser

Ayushmann Khurrana's latest outing 'Dream Girl' also starring Nushrat Bharucha directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa hit the screens on September 13. In the film, Ayuhsmann plays the role of a small-town guy who can modulate his voice to sound like a woman. The film has received unanimously positive reviews from both critics and audience alike. Ayushmann continues his dream run at the box-office with the film collecting Rs. 44.57 cr in its opening weekend. 

 

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures of the film on Twitter and wrote, "#DreamGirl runs riot at the BO... Packs a fantastic total, setting the BO on 🔥🔥🔥 on Day 2 and 3... Trends better than #Raazi [₹ 32.94 cr], #Stree [₹ 32.27 cr] and #Uri [₹ 35.73 cr]... Fri 10.05 cr, Sat 16.42 cr, Sun 18.10 cr. Total: ₹ 44.57 cr. #India biz."

 

Dream Girl which minted Rs. 10.05 cr on its opening day performed better on Day 2 and Day 3 by raking Rs. 16.42 cr and Rs. 18.10 cr respectively. The film has emerged as Ayushmann's highest opening weekend grosser beating Badhaai Ho.
