The makers have unveiled the first Look poster of Mimi starring Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles. Sharing the first poster on her social media handle, Kriti wrote, "Life is a journey filled with unexpected miracles. Get ready for a journey like never before, #Mimi!! This one's gonna be soooo special."

Kriti Sanon, who has worked with Pankaj Tripathi in films like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Luka Chuppi, is teaming up with the action again in Mimi. Bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan, the film is based on the Marathi film "Mala Aai Vhaaychya" which bagged the National Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi in 2011. The film will be directed by Laxman Utekar of 'Luka Chuppi' fame and is based on surrogacy.
