While the kannada remake of 96 starring Bhavana and Ganesh gets mixed reactions from the fans, the film is getting remade into one more language (Telugu). But this time the Telugu remake will be handled by the original team (Director: Prem Kumar, Music: Govind Vasantha, Cinematographer: Mahendiran) who had handled the Tamil version.

The film was launched officially today with a formal pooja and the makers have roped in actor Sharwanandand and Samantha to play the lead roles.  Further updates about the title and shoot plans are yet to be announced.
