If recent reports are anything to go by, then actors Arya and Simbu are all set to share screen space for the first time and STR will be seen playing villain to the former. The film they are expected to be starring in together is said to be a remake of the Kannada film Mufti and Studio Green is expected to bankroll this project.
However an official announcement on the same is yet to be made by the the people involved.
Mufti starred Kannada actors Srimurali and Shiva Rajkumar in the lead and was about a police officer who goes undercover to track down and confront a dreaded underworld leader. The film was directed by Narthan who is expected to direct the remake as well.
