Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor react after sibling Anshula Kapoor gets trolled for her stint on Koffee with Karan!

 

Koffee with Karan is a popular Indian English chat show hosted by director-producer and one of Bollywood's biggest names, Karan Johar. The show airs every Sunday and in the last episode, half-siblings and actors Arjun and Janhvi Kapoor had made an appearance. In the show's customary 'game round', the Kapoors were pitted against each other to call a family member and make them say, "Hey Karan, it's me".

Trouble began when Janhvi called her half-sister Anshula Kapoor and Arjun who shares a close bond with Anshula, started blackmailing his sister to not say those lines, so that he could win that round. Even after repeated requests from both Janhvi and host Karan Johar, Anshula chose to remain silent.
 
Though it was just a game, this incident made twitterati go berserk with hate comments for Anshula, who it is worth mentioning is not a part of the film industry. Speaking about this unrequited social media 'rage', Janhvi who is the daughter of late actress Sridevi said,
“..my sister (Anshula)...did something silly on Koffee with Karan and started getting like rape threats and stuff. And it was just weird to me. As people are faceless on social media, they feel they can have opinions that sometimes cross a moral line...”
Earlier she had also made an Instagram post to show that all's well between half-siblings and even took it upon her to explain why Anshula hadn't said anything on the call.



But since the topic doesn't seem to die and Anshula still seems to be at the receiving end, actor Arjun Kapoor has now come out with a rather scathing statement on twitter:
