The much awaited trailer of Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu is out. After Toilet: EK Prem Katha, director Shree Narayan Singh has dealt with yet another issue faced by the people in India today - 'Electricity'. The film revolves around power shortage and high electricity bill charges levied despite lower consumption. The trailer looks promising. Shahid Kapoor has delivered a good performance. 

Shradhha Kapoor and actress Yami Gautham play the leading ladies. Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a joint production venture of  Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti. The film is set to hit the screens on September 21, 2018.
