Kareena Kappor Khan's last outing Veere Di Wedding along with Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania did good business at the Box Office and has been declared a hit. Kareena Kapoor Khan has bagged two big projects after the phenomenal success of Veere Di Wedding. Kareena will be part of Karan Johar's home production opposite Akshay Kumar and ShahRukh Khan starrer Salute. 

According to reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been finalised to play the leading lady opposite ShahRukh Khan in astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic titled Salute. Kareena has agreed to do the film and will be signing on the dotted line soon. She will be teaming up with Shah Rukk Khan again after seven years, their last outing was Ra. One which hit the screens in 2011. Kareena plays the role Madhu who is an interior designer by profession and astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s wife. The film will go on floors in October. 

In her other project, Kareena and Akshay Kumar will be sharing the screen space together after nine years in Karan Johar's next film. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film will depict a love story of two couples and their journey through life post marriage. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar will be essaying the character of a married couple. Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani will play the second lead pair in this romcom. The film is expected to go on floors in November.
