The release date of Mohanlal's upcoming film Neerali has been announced. The film is set to release on June 14, 2018 on the eve of Eid.  Neerali, directed by Ajoy Varma is a road based film. The film has been predominantly shot in Mumbai. Neerali meaning Octopus in English is an action film packed with a lot of action and adventure.

Actors Parvathi Nair, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saikumar and Prakash Raj among others play pivotal roles in the film. The project is bankrolled by Santhosh T Kuruvilla under the banner of Moonshot Entertainment and famous cinematographer Santosh Thundiyil and Bollywood stunt choreographer Sunil Rodriguez are part of the technical crew.
