Tiger Shroff-Disha Pathani starrer Bhaagi 2 recreated the iconic Ek Do Teen song with Jacqueline Fernandez (the original had Madhuri Dixit) and received a lot of flak in the process. What was expected to be a major revival, turned out to irk some online fans and music enthusiasts alike. The song can be viewed here and the reactions can be found below :
As a die-hard Madhuri Dixit fan, I find this #EkDoTeen remix blasphemous and highly offensive. DO. NOT. TOUCH. THE. CLASSICS. I repeat, DO FUCKIN NOT!

Man the new #EkDoTeen is so bad, it doesn't even sound properly mastered.

We should praise the hideous new #EkDoTeen remix 'dance' video, since it is grotesque (and blasphemous) enough to kill the Bollywood remix trend altogether.

Insult to Madhuri Dixit.. thats all i can say #EkDoTeen

Me looking for the reasons why they allowed @Asli_Jacqueline to ruin a classic Song like #EkDoTeen 😂 pic.twitter.com/t6eHw8vWjX

#EkDoTeenWithJacqueline looks like tribute to Rakhi sawant not Madhuri Dixit . #EkDoTeen #EkDoTeenMadhuriOnly

You aren't just ruining songs, but memories and emotions attached to the original as well! STAAHP! #SaveTheMemories

Someone stop the remix bandwagon. New #EkDoTeen is an assault on the senses and memories alike. How did the people who made this remix not realize they’re unleashing trash & no one deserves it. I honestly feel awful for Madhuri Dixit and Alka Yagnik the most. #RemixHorror

As can be seen, there was a lot of dislike towards the song from majoirty of the online populace. However, some Shreya Ghoshal fans begged to differ and were rooting for this latest release.
I think there's absolutely nothing wrong in @shreyaghoshal's #EkDoTeen, the vocals are carried out flawlessly and music couldn't seem more perfect. Or is it that y'all just don't know the difference between a SONG and a music video?
