The Hindi remake of 2014's Hollywood super-hit The Fault in Our Stars, finally has a female lead on board and it is actress Sanjana Sanghi who will be seen reprising the role of actress Shailene Woodley from the original. Sanjana Sanghi has earlier played Ranbir Kapoor's sister in Rockstar and was last seen playing the younger version of actress Saba Qamar in one of 2017's very successful films, Hindi Medium. This movie will be her first as a female lead.

The Fault In Our Stars is based on John Green's bestselling novel of the same name and revolves around budding love between two teenagers who suffer from terminal cancer. The Indian adaption of the movie has Sushanth Singh Rajput playing male lead with double Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman for the music. Bollywood's ace casting director Mukesh Chhabra is making his directorial debut with this project, with  Fox Star Studios producing it.
