Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan is celebrating his 53rd birthday today. The actor surprised his fans by making his Instagram debut on his birthday. Aamir has gained 250K followers within a few hours of his Instagram debut. The actor has dedicated his first post to his mother Zeenat Hussain by positing a picture of her.

Aamir already enjoys a huge social media following on Twitter and Facebook, and is looking to extend this via an Instagram account. He currently has a social media reach of more than 37 million users, and through photo-sharing platform Instagram, Aamir will keep fans abreast about his life and projects, said a statement.

Aamir is currently shooting for Thugs Of Hindostan in Jodhpur. The film is set to hit the screens on November 7, 2018.
