That Arjun Kapoor - Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States, a film based on the book by Chetan Bhagat of the same name is being remade in Telugu is a known fact. However, what's new is that this yet untitled movie is all set to begin shooting from February, 2018. To be bankrolled by Lakshaya Productions, the Telugu movie edition of Chetan Bhagat's real-life story (that transpired between him and his now wife) will have Adivi Sesh and debutante Shivani (daughter of former actors Rajasekhar and Jeevitha) playing the lead parts.
The film will be directed by Venkat Reddy who has worked with director VV Vinayak earlier and will have Anup Rubens for music. An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is expected to be made soon.
