Tamil singer Srinivas wrongly portrayed in Sexual harassment story
In a bizzare new development, a popular media website wrongly carried an image of Tamil singer Srinivas in a piece published by them under the title ‘Guinness World Record Holder Ghazal Singer Srinivas Arrested For Sexual Harassment in Hyderabad’. Since the article was originally meant to carry Kesiraju Srinivas's picture and instead ended up angering the Tamil singer, it received a threat of legal charges over defaming the latter's reputation. Taking to his facebook page, Srinivas wrote :
While the media house apologised to the Kalaimamani recipient and took down the article, Srinivas also wrote to the content manager of the website via twitter and had her address the same.
Hi Srinivas, I'm sincerely sorry for the goof up. The article has been pulled down and deleted from all social media handles. Apologies again for this confusion. And thank you for pointing out.

TL;DR The story was originally about Kesiraju Srinivas, also known as “Ghazal Srinivas” who was arrested on Tuesday on charges of sexual harassment, following a complaint by a radio jockey. Kesiraju Srinivas, who holds the Guinness World Record for singing in most languages (76) at one concert, has denied the allegation.
