Nawazzudin Siddiqui unveils Thackeray first look, teaser
Actor Nawazzudin Siddiqui has confirmed that he will be portraying the role of the late Hindu extremist and former Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray in his upcoming bipoic film, Thackeray by releasing the first look teaser and poster of the film. Nawazzudin will be seen playing the protagonist in the biopic and the film is expected to showcase many aspects of Bal Thackeray's life, including 1993 Mumbai Riots.
Directed by Abhijit Phanse, Thackery is scheduled for release on January 23, 2019, the 93rd birth anniversary of the former Shiv Sena founder-president. Bal Thackeray, the cartoonist-turned-politician had a gigantic presence in Maharashtra and national politics for over five decades, before passing away on November 17, 2012. It would be interesting to watch Nawaz, the talented actor reprise his life in this Sanjay Raut written-production.
