Politician Vaiko to Enter Film Industry with Velu Nachiyar

Vaiko has now begun a film production house named Kannagi films. In a recent stage drama held in Chennai, he announced his debut production for a biopic on Velu Nachiyar, the legendary queen who fought the British. The drama was directed by Sriram Sharma who will direct the movie too.

At the end of the drama about Velu Nachiyaar, Vaiko added that it was his dream to produce films based on the queen's story.
