Ittefaq trailer has everyone talking and here's why

An adaptation of a 60's movie of the same name, Ittefaq is the story of a man trying to prove his innocence in his wife's murder and a woman trying to get away with her husband's. How fate interwines these two lives into one but with a totally different narration and climax, is what Siddharth Malhotra - Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq is all about.

While the original Ittefaq in itself was based on English film, Sign Post to Murder, it hasn't lessened the hype in any way for this Abhay Chopra directorial. Added to an edge-of-the-seat trailer, the film has gotten everyone talking for its uncommon promotional strategy as producer Karan Johar has announced that the publicity of the film will be restricted to digital and print build-up. His decision of not spending on interviews, media interaction and television appearances to retain the "intrigue" of the film is seen as a welcome move by many.
