Will be fabulous to see Alia, Sidharth in Aashiqui 3: Shraddha Kapoor

Following the announcement that Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt are confirmed for ‘Aashiqui 3’, Shraddha Kapoor expressed her delight towards the pair, who will continue the film franchise.

Reported in the Deccan Chronicle, Shraddha Kapoor says, “I think it’s great, it’s amazing. Sidharth and Alia confirmed… And it will be fabulous (to see them).”

When asked why she did not want to feature in the next instalment, Kapoor felt it was best the story in ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013) was left where it ended.

“I feel it would not be possible to be a part of ‘Aashiqui 3’. I think it was pretty much the end of Rahul (played by Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Aarohi’s story. When he passes away, we culminate Aarohi’s story there.”

The ‘OK Jannu’ (2017) star further added, “It did not make sense for us to be cast. It’s amazing they are continuing with it and both the films ‘Aashiqui’ and ‘Aashiqui 2’ touched so many hearts and I am sure the third one will also do so.”

Shraddha Kapoor’s next release ‘Haseena Parkar’ is set to release in cinemas on the 22nd September.
