Rajinikanth's 2.0 Telugu theatrical rights sealed for a big price

The producers of Rajinikanth’s 2.0 – Lyca productions have sold the Telugu theatrical rights of the superstar’s movie to Global cinemas to an undisclosed yet humungous price. Revealing the deal on twitter, Raju Mahalingam from Lyca said he was happy to partner Global cinemas in creating history. The price is for both AP and Telangana regions. 2.0 is being produced at a budget of 450 crores, a first of its kind in Indian cinema with heavy use of VFX and technicality.
