Meghna Gulzar begin shooting 'Raazi' in Kashmir

Director Meghna Gulzar has begun shooting her upcoming film ‘Raazi’ in Kashmir. The filmmaker’s movie stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

In a Twitter post, Gulzar revealed when she was young, she used to accompany her parents, poet-lyricist Gulzar and actress Raakhee on their outdoor shoots to the Valley. “Kashmir. A large part of my childhood was spent here. On outdoor shoots of my mother and father. Returning for my film. Surreal. #Raazi,” wrote the ‘Talvar’ (2015) director.

Gulzar also shared a silhouette picture of a lake and mountains at sunset, reports DNA India. The film will see Bhatt’s character married to a Pakistani army officer, which will be played by Kaushal. The movie is produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions and is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel, ‘Calling Sehmat,’ a thrilling saga of a spy who gave all of herself and that of her family in the service of her nation.
