Premam director wants Kamal Haasan to be Chief Minister

Director Alphonse Puthren who shot to fame with his Malayalam romantic flick Premam has grabbed everyone's attention with his latest statement on Kamal Haasan. Kepping the current scenario in mind where the Tamil film fraternity is aggressively fighting for the reduction in overall entertainment tax, the director has wished a role for the Ulaganayagan in the govenrment. He said:

"If there is a option like in mudhalvan film...to appoint a chief minister for one day . I think Kamal Hassan should be given one day for caring Tamil Nadu . Just one day would do . I hope it happens soon. He would take government to next level with his innovative ideas. This is just my wish . Please forgive this child if I said something wrong..."

It sure would be interesting to see Haasan take up the role now, wouldn't it?
