Suriya starrer Thaana Serntha Kootam has 8 songs

Actor Suriya's fans might have been disappointed about not getting to see a first look earlier this month, but they certainly do have something to look forward to in his 35th movie Thaana Serntha Kootam. According to latest reports, the movie is said to hold 8 songs composed by youth sensation Anirudh Ravichander. Despite several refutes by director Vignesh Sivan,  since the film is still rumoured to be loosely based on Akshay Kumar's Special 26 (which did not have any songs), it would be interesting to see how the director has managed to fit these compositions into the narrative. 

Touted to be a hard-core entertainer, the movie has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead and has a stellar cast of KS Ravikumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Ramya Krishnan, Anandraj, RJ Balaji, Kovai Sarala, Senthil, Thambi Ramaiah, Sathyan and Suresh Chandra Menon. ThaanaSerntha Kootam is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja (Studio Green) in association with Rajsekarpandian (2D Entertainment) and will be released by Lyca Productions. A first look or teaser of the film is expected to be released on the lead actor's birthday i.e. July 23, 2017.
