Sooraj Pancholi to star in Prabhu Dheva's next?

Sooraj Pancholi, who made his Bollywood debut opposite Athiya Shetty with Nikhil Advani’s Hero in 2015, has reportedly signed two films.

According to a report in DNA, Sooraj has signed a film with Prabhu Deva. Before that, the actor will be seen in director Faruk Kabir’s next film, tentatively titled Hafiz. He will play the role of a protector in the film, which goes on the floors next month. 

Prabhu’s film, meanwhile, will be an action flick. “Sooraj and Prabhu Deva were in talks for some time. He has loved the script and has already signed on for Prabhu’s next, which is an action flick,” says the DNA report. 

Talking about what sets Prabhu’s new film apart from his earlier movies, a source tells DNA: “Unlike other Prabhu films, it’s not a masala action comedy. The action here will be stylised and shot, Hollywood style. It’s not larger-than-life, unlike South movie remakes. It will definitely have a lot of song-and-dance.”

Prabhu’s film is slated to go on the floors later this year after Sooraj wraps up his film with Faruk.
