Katrina Kaif to play a star in Shah Rukh Khan's next movie?

Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai are set to team up for the first time on a film which also stars Katrina Kaif. The untitled film has an unusual storyline and will see Shah Rukh play a dwarf. However, reports suggest that Katrina will be seen playing herself for the first time in a film.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Kaif will be playing an actress in the much talked about film, tentatively titled ‘Bandhua’.

A source told the publication, “The film is primarily about the journey of SRK from Meerut to the United States of America, and Katrina comes in as herself, at a very crucial time in the film.”

Katrina Kaif has played a similar role in the past in the movie Bombay Talkies where she talks to her fan in a dream sequence. This will be the second film that Katrina and Shah Rukh will be sharing screen space in. However, the film is yet to go on floor as Katrina is busy shooting for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' alongside Salman Khan. And Shah Rukh too is busy with Imtiaz Ali's next alongside Anushka Sharma.
