G.V Prakash, Ilayaraja roped in for the Bala-Jyothika film

Earlier, we has reported about actress Jyothika being confirmed to play the female lead in director Bala's upcoming movie. Latest update on the film suggests that actor - composer GV Prakash has been confirmed to play the male lead. But contrary to the usual trend, where the actor is also seen composing the music for his films, Bala's new directorial will have the legendary Ilayaraja taking care of the music department. 

Touted to be a thriller film, the movie is said to revolve around the characters of Jyothika and GV Prakash. Jyothika is said to play the role of a police officer and Prakash's character is said to have grey shades to it. To be produced by the director's home banner B Studios and one other EON Studios, the yet untitled film is expected to begin shooting from March, 2017 and is said to be planned on a big budget.
