Vijay supports Jallikattu, says PETA should be sent home

Actor Vijay has released a video message in lieu of the ongoing Jallikattu protests and the arrests that followed. In a 45 second message, the actor uses the word PETA with a pun twice in the regional language and indicates that the state would be happy if they are sent home. His message is translates as follows:

Hello Everyone, This is your Vijay speaking. All over the world, rules and regulations were formed for protecting the cultures and traditions of a society and not hindering it. Jallikattu is an identity of a Tamizhian. I bow my head to all those young Tamil lads who have jumped to the protest grounds without any expectation, without any instigation and without the bias of a political party. I will be happy if those involved in the protest and arrested were released. The entire Tamil Nadu will be happy if the organisation responsible for all this was sent home.
