Dangal starring Aamir Khan and Shakshi Tanwar in the lead roles and directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The movie has been censored with 'U' certificate. The run time of the movie is 2 hours 40 minutes.

"Dangal" will also portray Aamir as a father of two daughters. Newcomers Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra will play the role of Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari respectively, the wrestler's daughters who also happen to be wrestlers.  The film is slated to release on December 23, 2016.
