Dangal's first song 'Hanikarak' to launch on Children's Day

Aamir Khan is all set to launch Dangal's first song "‘Bapu Tu Sehat Ke Liye Hanikarak Hai’ on Children's day.

The song composed by Pritam and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya is a tongue n cheek take on the relationship between a strict father and children. The lyrics of the song go by “Bapu Tu Sehat Ke Liye Hanikarak Hai”. The song will feature the child actors who play the younger version of Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumar.

Hanikarak Song, though will be shown to the media on 12th November at an event but it will start to air on TV Channels from the 14th November, Children’s Day.

According to Bollywood Life, “While his directorial film Taare Zameen Par had the soulful and intense Maa song, this one is a more tongue-in-cheek fun take on the father. The first song from Dangal goes like this: Bapu, Tu Sehat Ke Liye Hanikarak Hai. Written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam, the training song is penned like an anthem, where the children (Geeta and Babita) are telling their father (Mahavir Phogat played by Aamir) that he is too strict.”

Shot in Ludhiana, “the song is a representation of all the emotions undergone by the little kids on being coaxed to achieve higher goals. Aamir will launch it with the younger Geeta Phogat (Zaira Wasim) and Babita Kumari (Suhani Bhatnagar) along with Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari,” adds the source.

Dangal starring Aamir Khan and Shakshi Tanwar in the lead roles. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Dangal" will also portray Aamir as a father of two daughters. Newcomers Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra will play the role of Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari respectively, the wrestler's daughters who also happen to be wrestlers.  The film is slated to release on December 2016
