The month of November is what ardent fans of Rajinikanth have been anticipating for a while. Exciting enough as it is, news about the superstar donning a triple role for the same movie have recently made headlines.
According to reports this third role will be an evil avatar of Rajinikanth apart from his Robot reprised role of Vaseegaran, the scientist and Chitti, the robot. This avatar is said to be created by Sudhanshu Pandey's character, with the neural schema his dead father Bohra (evil scientist from Robot) left him.
The triple role will be Rajinikanth's third after John Jani Janardhan and the Deepika Padukone starrer Kochadaiiyaan, which was also India's first motion capture film. Meanwhile, while 2.0 is reported to feature large animatronic birds and extravagant visuals, the movie is said showcase only one song in it. This song which was shot in Ukraine featuring Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson is the only one from the album of six to make it to the visuals. Also starring Akshay Kumar, the movie credits AR Rahman for the music, Nirav Shah for cinematography and Shankar Shanmugam for direction.
