Karan Johar's Dharma Productions Acquires Rana Daggubati's Ghazi 


Bollywood's most prestigious production house, Dharma Productions has acquired the distribution rights of Ghazi, a bilingual being made in Telugu and Hindi. The movie which is based on true events from the Indo-Pak war in 1971 features Rana Daggubati and Tapsee Pannu in lead roles. This is a second collaboration for Karan Johar (head of Dharma) in the south, post his successful team up with SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning. 

Ghazi, which is Tollywood's first true-life war film, will see Rana playing a Naval officer and Tapsee as a refugee from Bangladesh. Atul Kulkarniand Kay Kay Menon have been roped in to play pivotal roles in the film which is a K musical. The movie, produced by PVP cinemas will hit theatre screens on February 24, 2017
