Padmavati Star Cast and release date revealed

After the huge success of Ramleela and Bajirao Mastani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will soon start his next project Padmavati. The film will feature Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. The film is expected to release late 2017.

Padmavati' is a period drama on Sultan Alauddin Khilji and his obsessive love for Queen Padmavati of Mewar. While Deepika plays Rani Padmavati, Ranveer will be essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji. On the other hand Shahid Kapoor will be playing Deepika's husband, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar.
