Vishal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu to share screen space?

Actor Vishal who is currently busy shooting for Mysskin's Thupparivaalan has reportedly roped in Samantha Ruth Prabhu to play his female lead in his upcoming home production. Tentatively titled Irumbu Thirai (after the Sivaji starrer 60's movie) the movie will be directed by debutante P.S. Mithran. A source close to the project was quoted saying that the team of Irumbu Thirai is currently in the process of obtaining a No Objection Certificate with respect to its title. Shooting of this movie is expected to begin this month and Samantha is expected to join the team prior to that. Vishal will shoot for Thupparivaalan and Irumbu Thirai simultaneously following which he will join Linguswamy's Sanda Kozhi 2. 

Reports also suggest that cinematographer George. C. Williams has signed the dotted lines for handling the camera. Interestingly both Samantha and George were last seen working together for Vijay's Theri, which happened to be a blockbuster.
