Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha to begin Ittefaq remake in 2017!

Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha will be sharing screen space in the remake of Rajesh Khanna and Nanda’s cult film Ittefaq.

In an interview for the promotions of Baar Baar Dekho, Sidharth Malhotra revealed that he is really exicted to start shooting for the remake of Yash Chopra’s Ittefaq starring Rajesh Khanna. He said,

“I start shooting for Ittefaq remake next year. It is a thriller and we are just taking the basic premise of the original film. It is more of an modern day adaptation than a remake. Apart from me, there’s Sonakshi Sinha in the film. I am really excited because this is a space I have not ventured into till date.”

Currently Sonakshi is busy promoting her upcoming action movie Akira and Sidharth is also on a promotional spree of Baar Baar Dekho.
