Mohanlal's Maxlab bagged the distribution rights for Kabali in Kerala

Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali is all set to release on July. Kerala distribution rights for Kabali has been bagged Mohanlal's Maxlab. The movie will be distributed in Kerala by Mohanlal's MaxLab and Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas. Kabali is set to hit 150 screens in Kerala on the first day of release.

According to reports, the distribution rights for the film were bagged by Mohanlal for Rs 8.5 crore, the highest amount paid for a non-Malayalam film in Kerala. Earlier, the distribution rights for Vijay’s “Theri” had reportedly sold at Rs 5.6 crore.

Kabali starring Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte and Dhansika in the lead roles is directed by Pa.Ranjith. Music is by Santhosh Narayanan. Produced by Kalipuli S. Thanu.
