Akshay Kumar to promote 'Airlift' on Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss'

Bigg Boss is one of the biggest platforms for film promotion on Hindi television. And Bollywood sure knows how to make the best of it. Every week, the reality TV shows sees a number of Bollywood stars promoting their upcoming releases, alongside show host Salman Khan.

The latest to join is Bollywood's Khiladi, Akshay Kumar. His film, Airlift, is scheduled to release on 22 January 2016. The film is a fictionalised account of the Indian government's commendable efforts of rescuing over 170,000 Indians from Kuwait in the 1990s.

The Raja Krishna Menon directorial, based on the world's biggest evacuation mission, stars Nimrat Kaur as the female lead.
