There were some rumors regarding Super Star Rajinikanth's next film Rana would be abandoned due to the actor's health conditions. The latest we hear from the production house Eros International was that the there were some fake news prevailing over the internet regarding the shelving of the film.

Eros International MD Mr.Sunil Lulla rubbished all the rumors by confirming that the film will resume its shoot by December once the Super Star is fully fit. He also added that it is their ambitious project with Super Star Rajinikanth & they will wait for him to take enough rest before the shoot begins from December.

Rana will feature the Super Star playing a triple role opposite Deepika Padukone. This film is directed by ace director KS Ravikumar & will have music by Oscar Award winner A.R Rahman. It will be a tri-lingual venture in Tamil, Telugu & Hindi.
