Masss Preview Analysis

It is safe to say that Venkat Prabhu revived Karthi's form with Biriyani, who suffered from a series of flops. With Masss, he is all set to do the same for Suriya with after the disastrous Anjaan. Nayanthara and Pranitha play the leading ladies in the film, while Venkat Prabhu's regulars, Premji Amaren plays the comedian and Yuvan scores the music.

Check out what to expect from the film:

1. Although many claim it to be a horror film, Venkat Prabhu has been reiterating that horror will only be a part of the film. It would be interesting to see what the director has come up with this time around, as the teaser and the promos look very promising.

2. Suriya will be definitely eying to bounce back strong after Anjaan. Does Suriya play a ghost in the film, or is he haunted by a spirit? Either way, the film is going to be a new experience for the fans. One should say that Suriya has made clever choices of the director and the script, as horror comedy is the safest bet now in Tamil.

3. Yuvan Shankar Raja has come up with some really interesting and experimental numbers for the film, which have already pleased the music buffs. Importantly, his background scores for Venkat Prabhu's previous films have been terrific, and he shouldn't disappoint in Masss as well.

4. The supporting cast includes Premji Amaren, Samuthirakani and Parthiban. This is probably the first time a Venkat Prabhu's film will have emotionally heavyweight sequences, and the senior actors would come into picture during such scenes. Premji Amaren is expected to play a second fiddle to Suriya and appear throughout the film. Nayanthara is pairing up with Suriya again after Aadhavan, while Pranitha would be expecting to get into the next league after this film.

5. The movie is touted to have quite a lot of VFX sequences, and it is expected to raise the bar higher for Tamil films. Final Words Masss is surely expected to be an interesting flick, but will it satisfy the masses? We will be back with our answer after the FDFS!
