Will Endhiran 2 become a reality?

Industry is buzzing strong about the development of Shankar - Rajinikanth's next movie. The news is in headlines for a long time that Shankar & Rajinikanth are in discussion for Endhiran 2. Previously, the duo had approached AGS Entertainment for producing the movie. However, things did not materialize and the possibilities of Endhiran 2 becoming a reality remained questionable.

Lyca & Ayngaran?

The insiders reveal that Lyca is the only production house who can fund a huge budget of Rs 150 crore for Endhiran 2 and make it into a reality. It is also said that Ayngaran would act as a distribution network for the movie. 

Technicians compromised?

It is usual that Shankar's team comprises of big names on the technical front. As the budget gets bigger and bigger, Shankar is under pressure to find technicians suiting the budget. One of them is music director, Shankar usually prefers AR Rahman for his music department, but Shankar's meeting with Harris Jayaraj in the past few times sparks rumors that Shankar has chosen Harris for his next. 

The next big question is who would be playing the antagonist role? Kamal, Vikram and a few more names come under the radar and none seems to have been finalized. With a large number of questions like budget, technicians & cast kept unanswered, the possibility of Endhiran 2 becoming a reality is still questionable.
