Producer's justification for postponing Siddharth's Jigarthanda

Earlier today Siddharth miffed over Jigarthanda that without consulting him or the director of the movie the film got postponed. The producer of the film responded on the postponement saying that Velai Illa Pattathari released on Jul 18 is running successfully in theatres. Looks like the other producers and distributors requested him to release Jigarthanda a week later, which will be beneficial for them. The producer accepted the request and announced that the movie Jigarthanda will be releasing on Aug 1.
