Sabu Cyril joins Rajinikanth's Lingaa

Sabu Cyril, who has won four National Awards, the last one being for Endhiran, has been roped in as the art director for Lingaa. Sabu Cyril has created wonders for many films in his career be it sci-fi futuristic themes or period films. 

The shooting of Lingaa is progressing at a brisk pace at Mysore. Portions involving Rajnikanth and Sonakshi Sinha are currently being shot. The story of Lingaa spans across two generations, where one set in 1940 and the other in the present age. Sonakshi is part of the 1940s period in Lingaa while Anushka Shetty is part of the current age. 

The Mysore schedule will be wrapped by May 25 and the team will then movie to Hyderabad for the next schedule. AR Rahman is scoring the music. Directed by KS Ravikumar, the film is produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
