Bala to produce Vijay Sethupathi's Vasanthakumaran

Vasanthakumaran starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles is set to be directed by debutant Anand Kumar, a good friend of Vijay Sethupathi. Anand Kumaresan had earlier worked as an associate in Semma Ragalai and Ethri Een 3. The film will be produced by director Bala's B Studios jointly with Studio 9 Production. This is the first time Bala is teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for a project as a producer.

The film which is set to be made on a big-budget will go on floors in Chennai soon. Vasanthakumaran will have music by Justin Prabhakar, editing by Govind and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. Vasanthakumaran is a family entertainer set in the backdrop of romance. Story, screenplay, dialogue and direction by Anand Kumaresan.
