Marking actor Vikram's 58th birthday, a Thangalaan making video giving viewers a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes (BTS) was unveiled on Wednesday. 'Chiyaan' Vikram is no stranger to physically demanding roles, and the Thangalaan BTS confirms that Vikram has gone to some arduous extents to portray the offbeat titular character. 

A historical drama co-written and directed by Pa. Ranjith, Thangalaan is scheduled to release in theaters soon. The movie is a joint production venture of Jio Studios, Studio Green, and director PA. Ranjith's Neelam Productions. 

Thangalaan's OTT rights are with Netflix, and the movie is scheduled to also release in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Thangalaan has GV Prakash Kumar for music.
