The Greatest of All Time aka The GOAT is an upcoming Vijay starrer written and directed by filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. On Thursday, it was officially announced that The Greatest of All Time's release date is September 5, 2024 [Thursday]. The GOAT is hitting theater screens for the Vinayagar/Ganesh Chathurti weekend, as the Indian holiday falls on September 7, 2024 i.e. Saturday.  

An AGS Entertainment production, The GOAT has Vijay in dual roles and is currently being filmed in Russia. The movie's ensemble includes Meenakshi Chaudhary as female lead, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, Ajay Raj, Ganja Karuppu, Paravati Nair, among others.

Touted to be a sci-fi action thriller, The Greatest of All Time is scheduled to release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. The GOAT's OTT rights are with Netflix, and the film's technical crew includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Viji for dialogues, Siddhartha Nuni for cinematography, Venkat Raajen for edits. 

Production designer Rajeevan Nanbiyar, stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan, art directors Sekar and Surya Rajeevan, costume designers Vasuki Bhaskar, Pallavi Singh, choreographers Raju Sundaram, Sathish Krishnan and lyricists Madhan Karky, Kabilan Vairamuthu, Arivu and Venkat Prabhu's father Gangai Amaran are also part of The GOAT's technical crew. The film is currently gearing up for a first single release.
