It has now been officially announced that the title of Thalaivar 171, actor Rajinikanth's upcoming film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be revealed on April 22, 2024 [Monday]. Rajinikanth's first look from Thalaivar 171 was unveiled along with this announcement, and the poster features the Superstar in retro black-and-white with handcuffed in gold watches. 

Lokesh Kanagaraj had previously states that Thalaivar 171 will begin shooting in June, 2024, and that the producers Sun Pictures will be unveiling an 'interesting teaser' before that. Now it has been confirmed that Thalaivar 171's title reveal will be accompanied by a teaser release on April 22. 

Thalaivar 171 has Anirudh for music and Anbariv for action.
