Trisha starrer Garjanai which is the official Tamil remake of Anushka Sharma starrer hit film NH 10 has been facing issues in release for about a year now. The movie is finally all set to hit theater screens soon. Garjanai's director debutant Sundar Balu has revealed that his film has been bought by a distribution company for release. 

Balu has also said that Garjanai is aiming for a August, 2019 release though an official date is yet to be set by the makers. NH 10 is a 2015 thriller inspired by real-incidents involving honour-killing cases. The movie told the story of a young couple whose road trip goes awry after an encounter with a group of violent criminals.
