'Mass hero' Santhanam and his fans

Be it Sakka Podu Podu Raja's trailer launch press meet or the grand audio launch in the presence of composer STR and Dhanush a few days back, Santhanam’s fans were really vocal in their love and support for their star. At the audio launch, ‘Santa’ showed genuine care and affection when he asked them to carefully return home after the event was wrapped. He even stepped in to cool down a heated situation among a group of warring fans,

“I got the impetus to turn hero only due to their love and support. Like how fans stay with a hero through thick and thin, I’ll also stay with them forever.”

The pleasantly surprising reception that Santhanam gets at his events, with all the banners and posters, is definitely befitting of a mass hero. Looks like Sakka Podu Podu Raja which is set to release on Dec 22 will register a solid opening on the back of such devoted fans
